FINALLY! A covered, high-sided litter box that fits where it needs to go! It's surprisingly roomy - actually took more litter to fill it than the box it replaced, even though they have roughly the same footprint. The high sides are a must for my high-peeing cat, and the liner system is *awesome* - keeps things tidy, holds up to super-shredder kitty claws, and stuff doesn't stick! The odor control system is a nice plus (full disclosure: doesn't eliminate odors, but does blunt the impact of feline stink bombs). The litter scoop hanger is also nice to have. There was a bit of skewing/lid misalignment at first, but it seems to have settled out after a few days. Premium price product, but definitely well worth the investment.

One of my cats has very bad behaviors when anything changes, including the litterbox. The other cat pees high and often over the side of cat#1's preferred litterbox. The Modkat pleases them both AND I love the human-friendly accessibility/ease of scooping. I bought two more and my life is easier!

I’ve been scooping cat boxes for 30+ years. It’s a chore I hate. All the awkward boxes and lids and ill-fitting liners have made me question having cats many times. This box is so easy! There’s no liner for my cat to tear to shreds leaving it useless after the first use. It’s tall enough and large enough for my girl. (She’s not fat-she just has good birthing hips 😆). The folding lid is a game changer! I’m no longer tracking litter around the room that’s stuck to the lid. I fold the lid up, scoop and I’m done! I highly recommend getting something like a Litter Genie with it like I did. These two inventions have changed my whole poop scooping world!

We love our new Flip! At first, left the cover off to let The Lads get used to using a new box, then added the cover half-open all the time. The front is high enough to prevent litter from being kicked out onto the floor, even for our front-of-the-box go-er. And so good-looking. Thanks, Modkat!

It’s tall enough so that it keeps the boys from spraying outside and above the shorter boxes. We have 3 of these, for our 3 cats.
