Flip Paperboard Liners

I love Modcat! I’ve been buying Modcat litter boxes and liners for many years. It’s annoying to have to pay a $10.00 flat fee for shipping when my purchases fall below free shipping. In the future I plan on ordering through Amazon.

I've had this litter box for a while and was using the reusable lining - washing it every month and changing it when it got too bad. Working from home, I found my self smelling my office more (where the box is) and it was just gross. I didn't want to get a new litter box so seeing this alternative was great (the lining was out of stock so I subbed for this). the cardboard is AMAZING. I love that when it needs to be changed my new Pretty Litter comes in - so I do it at the same time! My office no longer smells - this is just so perfect and I'm just a happier cat mom!

I love these litter boxes and liners. I recommend them all the time to family and friends. I have five cats so believe me when I say I have tried numerous kinds of boxes. Nothing comes close when you pair these liners and a good clumping litter. No smell and no mess and with the solid construction of the box no leaks. My big orange tabby thinks there great too :-)

These are a truly great invention! The cardboard is plasticized on the inside and these liners in combination with the Flip litter box are the best system I have ever used. Very little litter escapes the box and I only have to change the liner and clean out the box every 2-3 weeks as long as I scoop it daily and keep the litter filled to the “2 cat” line. Love love love them!!!

These cardboard liners are really sturdy and are so much better to use than the alternative tarp liner for the flip box (my cats tear that tarp liner to shreds). These liners hold up great for well over a month and multiple litter changes for 2 cats. I’ve been using them for several years and can count one 1 hand how many times I’ve had a liner leak.

while the other liners last longer, love the paper liners. biodegradable and earth friendly.

These cardboard liners are the best! Way better than flimsy plastic bags that rip easily. And i prefer these over the tarp-like liners that are also available for my Modkat litterbox. These liners hold up so well with my 2 cats, one of whom is a heavy digger in the box. I’ve been a Modkat customer for many years now and will continue to be.

They’re extremely sturdy, and with daily scooping keep the cat box clean and fresh smelling! And they do not disintegrate like cheaper substitutes! You’ll know from the first time using them how long they last. We’ve got one cat, and with daily scooping the liner lasts several weeks, making Modkat liners the best made! Do not hesitate to buy them - you’ll never buy another brand!

The cardboard liners save the plastic liners from wear and tear. The cardboard liners last about a month to 6 weeks and makes cleanup simple and easy and appears to absorb orders pretty well.

The Paperboard Liners are the BEST liners I have ever used! I've been using Modkat litter boxes for the last 13 years and I much prefer the paperboard liners to plastic liners. The paperboard liners are sturdy, easy to insert and last quite awhile before they need changing (I scoop my litter as soon as I see that my cat has done her business). I would highly recommend if you don't want to have to wash plastic liners.

These are game changing for my two kitty home with the XL flip top box, I can’t believe I suffered thru those tarp liners for almost two years (they bunch up, don’t fit the boxes edges flush, impossible to clean so I end up tossing, hold odor and are sticky with dirty litter). These cardboard ones are so much cleaner and being disposable- I feel less guilty tossing them when they’re done (btw they last a long time without holding sticky litter or odor). I can’t believe I didn’t have them to begin with. Pls never stop making them.

Recently tried the cardboard liners for ModkatFlip litter box. They are great, and easy to clean.

These are a must have for me. I love that it keeps the litter box in near perfect shape. Every 3-4 weeks I empty the litter and the paper liner and start fresh. Makes cleaning the litter box a breeze. Please never stop making this item. I love that they are disposable as opposed to the fabric liners that you should wash.

These are great if you only have one or two cats, I'm sure. I have multiple cats and multiple litterboxes, so I thought this would be great because the gray liners can be pricey when you change them out every month (yes, I know you can use them up to 3 months, but I'm not washing 8 litter box liners every month --haha) so I thought these cardboard liners would be great! They are super easy to scoop. The scoops just glides across the bottom of the boxes with ease! We have discovered that we have a few "stand up" pee-ers...and a couple of times they peed over the top of the liner which created a mess! Luckily I lined the bottom of the litter box with a puppy pad and was able to catch some of the pee that went over, but I still had a mess to clean out of a few different boxes. I think these liners need to be taller, especially if they are going in the tall flip top boxes. With all of that being said, if you only have a cat or 2 and they aren't "stand up" pee-ers, these are great! For me to buy them again, they would have to make them taller.

I have tried a number of different litter boxes and have found this one to be the best. Easy to access when it needs cleaned and well made. My cat has used it for the past 6 years. Highly recommend!

I bought the Flip Paperboard Liners plus the Flip Paperboard liner band for my Modkat Tray Open Litterbox and the paperboard liners DO NOT fit!! I am super disappointed and stuck with the paper liners and the liner band!!

Flip Paperboard Liners (6-Pack)

I absolutely love my Modcat liter box (flip top) and I use the silver liners, but I have one cat the tends to scratch and he is causing the liners to have a shorter life than 3 months. I thought I would try using the paper liners, inside the silver, as a way of preserving the bag life. While I appreciate that it’s paper and a cat scratching will cause tears, that isn’t my issue. I try hard to make sure I keep at least 4” of liter in the box, but there are still over saturation issues in parts, not affected by the scratching. I had one liner that disintegrated so fast, the old liner and litter, I had just throw in the outside trash, had not even been picked up by the weekly sanitation run.

They are absolutely solving the issue of extending the life of the silver liners, which was my goal, I guess I was just hoping for at least 3-4 weeks per liner, and I think I average closer to 2-3. I will add that I have 3 cats, and I use natural litter (a combination of corn and walnut) because I don’t want the dogs to eat clay, if they gain access to the cats room. So, I concede heavy use, and non clay, but I clean every day very throughly. If my usage was more typical and one of the cats didn’t scratch a hole, I think these would probably last a lot longer. Thus I am torn in my review.

I've had cats my entire life. I love the Modkat flip top litter box for easy cleaning, while still giving my lil guy a sense of privacy and enclosure. As long as you use low-dust litter, this is one of the cleanest and sleekest litter boxes you'll ever own. And the liners are so easy to switch out!

Flip Paperboard Liners (6-Pack)

While the paper liners work great (albeit expensive) they are not for all cats. One of ours is a scratcher and pees in the corner. This makes liner damp and ultimately fall apart. Fortunately she consistently likes to use the same to boxes so we keep on top of changing those more frequently.

These liners are incredible. I used the Tyvek liners for a long time but switched to these to try them out, and I have yet to return to the other style liner. The liners last through many litter changes. If there is any soiling, I can usually wipe the liner clean and reuse it with no issues of odor or moisture spots.

These liners are so much better than the traditional plastic bag type liners. And when Modkat’s tarp material liners were gone during covid, I switched to these and was pleasantly surprised how much I liked them and how much easier it was changing litter with these. My cats are side diggers too and eventually they would tear up the tarp liners, but they have not yet managed to tear up these cardboard ones the same way. They’re very durable and definitely work well for us!
