Clean litter box. Happy cat.

We recommend replacing Flip paperboard liners when there are signs of wear and tear to keep bacteria and odor in check. The longevity of the liners depends on how much litter is used, how many cats use the litter box, and how ferociously they scratch. Daily scooping and sustaining the litter level at 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) will maximize the life of the liners.

Redo cardboard liners.

My male cats pee in the corners and even with the correct amount of litter it gets wet and deteriorates. It’s a big mess. I have resorted to garbage bags.

Flip Paperboard Liners

I love Modcat! I’ve been buying Modcat litter boxes and liners for many years. It’s annoying to have to pay a $10.00 flat fee for shipping when my purchases fall below free shipping. In the future I plan on ordering through Amazon.

Cardboard liners

I’m not a fan of the cardboard liners. They are not waterproof for me. I don’t like having dirty cardboard smelling up my house. I’d say stick to the original liners!! They are great

High hopes for this product because it would have made life easier not having to hose out the boxes. The cardboard got wet within a day despite cleaning it out daily. Once the cardboard is wet the cats started tearing pieces with their claws. Considered using two at a time but it’s too expensive changing them weekly. Also my senior cat stands while peeing so the cardboard didn’t prevent that mess. Hopefully in the future a better solution will be developed.

Hi Lindsey, we're sorry to hear this! Please be sure the litter level is filled as indicated on liner, we highly recommend using 3-4 inches of natural clumping litter.
If you'd like, Flip can also be used with the Type F Tarp Liners, plastic liner (with tension band), or no liner at all as the seamless base and smooth bottom allow for easy clean-up.
