A clean litter box makes for a healthy and happy cat. We recommend replacing Modkat Reusable Liners when there are signs of fraying, or after 3 months time to keep bacteria and odor in check. The integrity of the liners depends on how many cats use the litter box, how much litter is used, and how ferociously they scratch. Daily scooping and sustaining the litter level at 2-3 inches (5-7.5 cm) will maximize their life.

Great product, can you fix the wire?

I’ve been using a modkat box for a few years and love it. The liners fit perfectly and are durable and reusable. The only thing I noticed at some point is that the wire around the top of the liner git stiffer and less flexible compared to how I remembered them. This makes getting them in and out if the box a little harder. Hope modkat can address this.

These are great and durable liners. I just threw out the old ones after months of use. I like that it is flush with the box and reusable.

Wonderful Litter System

Our cats have been happily using the original ModKat for several years. It’s easy in, private inside, easy out and easy to clean. The liners which I purchased prior to this review keep the litter change mess free. Plus - they are easily cleaned. Happy cats and happy cat parents!
