Reducing our pawprint.
Modkat is committed to cats and the cat-loving community. A big part of that commitment is helping to preserve the planet for future generations. Here's what we've been doing to help make this happen.
Supply change.
Modkat has partnered with Flexport for all of our overseas freight shipments. Flexport's advanced technology platform measures carbon emissions to help us make informed decisions. We also subscribe to Flexport’s climate program making all of our freight shipments carbon neutral.
Material choices.
We’re collaborating with our suppliers to incorporate the highest percentage of post-consumer plastic in the manufacturing of our litter boxes. We've made tooling changes to accommodate this, while making sure not to compromise the quality and beauty of our products.
Think inside the box.
We use as little packaging as possible and as much recycled content as we can muster. And every Modkat litter box includes eco-friendly packaging that transforms into an interactive cat toy. This gives our packaging a second life, and best of all, cats love it!

Return for good.
We now offer an option for our customers to donate returned litter boxes to local animal shelters. This will help the environment and our cat friends in need at the same time.
