L'intégrité des doublures dépend du nombre de chats qui utilisent le bac à litière, de la quantité de litière utilisée et de la férocité avec laquelle ils grattent. Ramasser quotidiennement et maintenir le niveau de litière à 2 à 3 pouces (5 à 7,5 cm) maximisera leur durée de vie.
