I was very skeptical of modkat. We have 3 cats and use swheat scoop multicat, so the litter box is in the bathroom. There was tons of litter on the floor daily and one of our cats sometimes missed...so I decided to give modkat a whirl.
I received modkat, assembled it in no time, put the old litter into it and brought the kitties in for inspection. Within an hour, all had used it. There is at least 97% less litter on the bathroom floor. I'm not kidding. It's like a miracle. I still vacuum, but there is no comparison to pre-modkat days. I'm never going back.
And now, no one misses because they are completely contained. We even use a metal scoop instead of the one that came with the modkat and the liner is tough enough that it's not a problem.
Great product, sturdy, great design--fits beautifully into the newly renovated baths. Now my vet is getting one!
